The FLIR Si124-LD Plus is an easy-to-use, stand-alone system for locating pressurized leaks in compressed air systems. This lightweight, one-handed solution is designed to help maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering professionals identify air leaks up to 10 times faster than with traditional methods.

Built with 124 microphones, the Si124-LD Plus produces a precise acoustic image that visually displays ultrasonic information, even in loud, industrial environments. The acoustic image is overlaid in real time on a digital camera picture, allowing the user to accurately pinpoint the source of the sound. The Si124-LD Plus features a plugin that enables users to import acoustic images to FLIR Thermal Studio suite for offline editing, analysis, and advanced report creation. Field analysis and reporting can also be done using the FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. Through a regular maintenance routine, the FLIR Si124-LD Plus can help facilities save money on utility bills and delay the expense of installing new compressors.

Leak Quantification on Camera

Leak rate or size in liters per minute is calculated based on the sound intensity of the leak, the distance, and the specific power of the compressed air system, and is shown on the screen. The yearly cost of the leak is also calculated based on user inputs for the cost of electricity in their region.

AutoDistance

AutoDistance automatically measures the distance to the leak source for real-time, reliable, leak rate estimates. It works for distances up to 5 meters (16 feet). Users can still input the distance manually when needed.

AutoFilter

Filter choice moved to “advanced settings”. AutoFilter automatically determines the best filter to use, revealing small leaks that might otherwise remain undetected and speeding up inspections even more while simplifying tool operation.
